Savannah Stopover

March 7 - March 9

Entering its ninth year as one of the South’s best music festivals, Savannah Stopover has confirmed the full lineup for their 2019 festival taking place Thursday, March 7th – Saturday, March 9th. Lucy Dacus (3/7), Deerhunter (3/8), and The Joy Formidable (3/9) are set to anchor each of the nights. Concerts take place across multiple venues offering a pleasantly walkable experience in a charming coastal environment. Festival wristbands and Savannah’s open-container laws allow concert goers to easily hop from show to show, grab a sit-down meal, or stroll through Savannah’s 22 park-like Squares.

The festival is known for its continued emphasis on discovery of emerging talent with more than 75% of the lineup devoted to rising acts at a price unrivaled by similar music festivals ($39 for single day, $69 for two day, $89 for three day passes). Notable up and comers for 2019 include The Beths, Faye Webster, Paul Cherry, Sneaks, Louis Prince, Weakened Friends, Pinc Louds, Illiterate Light and many more. This year’s festival also features a Rising Female Stars of Americana and Country Showcase with Skylar Gudasz, Katie Pruitt and Savannah Conley as well as a Kanine Records Showcase with the UK’s Honey Lung, Living Hour and Tallies.
Savannah Stopover has a proven track record of predicting and presenting some of the brightest up and coming talent. Grimes, The War On Drugs, Future Islands, Mac Demarco, Wye Oak, Rainbow Kitten Surprise, DIIV, St. Paul & The Broken Bones, Margo Price, The War & Treaty and countless others have played Stopover shortly before breaking through.

Beginning as a convenient stop for artists coming down the east coast on their way to SXSW, as the festival has grown, more and more regional and national acts have decided to make Savannah Stopover a destination in its own right. Join us March 7-10, 2019, as Savannah Stopover showcases 75+ bands in small to mid-size venues across Savannah’s Historic District.
