Unity of Savannah is hosting a free community training session on using NARCAN to resuscitate victims of opioid overdose on Sunday, August 14th starting at 12:30pm. 2320 Sunset Blvd. A free, southern style BBQ meal catered by Meat’N Spot mobile caterers will begin at 12:30pm in Unity’s fellowship hall, training will be from 1:30pm to 2:30pm. Q&A follows the training, as well as 50 free doses of NARCAN, chosen by lottery, to training participants. This program is provided in collaboration with the Clinton Foundation and the Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities.
