It is with very heavy hearts that we must announce that Smarty Jones crossed over the rainbow bridge this week.

For more than 20 years, Smarty ruled the roost here at the Bungalow, serving in equal parts mascot, stress reliever and friend to all who entered his home. We will continue to honor Smarty’s memory and legacy by advocating for the adoption of rescued pets and helping those in need of reuniting a lost pet with its human. For those who wish to pay tribute to Smarty, please do so by making a donation to either the Humane Society of Greater Savannah or any other non-profit pet rescue organization.
