Scott comes to Savannah from the northeast but he was born in Mississippi which is why he feels right at home here in Georgia.

Scott grew up in Connecticut then moved to Maryland where he landed his first radio job at WTHU in Thurmont Md which is a small town at the foot of the Catoctin Mountains just a short drive down the road from Camp David the Presidential retreat.

After that he spent most of his radio career over the mountain in Chambersburg Pennsylvania in various capacities with the current Alpha Media stations Mix95.1, WCHA, WHAG & WQCM. Formats have included Classic Country, Top 40, Big Bands, Contemporary Christian music & Talk Radio.

In the early 2000’s Scott joined the staff WAYZ in Waynesboro Pa.as news director before heading back to the Alpha media stations as News Director. Along with his current duties on Q105.3 he is also the morning local newscaster on WRGG in Greencastle Pa., also he is a Content Provider for the online information media outlet localnews1.org in Waynesboro Pa.
